The Dallas-Buffalo connect returns swiftly with the follow-up to their debut project Kindred Spirits (May 2022) with a 3-track maxi single/EP entitled Draper Calloway, just in time to warm up your holiday season. The new body of work drops everywhere on November 29th.

Announced just yesterday on both artists’ Instagram feeds, Cav Johnson & The Kid Flames have arrived once again to hit us with their special brand of dusty boom-bap hip-hop via Draper Calloway, the new 3-track project featuring a special appearance from Verse Osmo, all fresh off their appearances on the Slept On Summer compilation.

With a visual featuring both the vintage cover art and track listing for the project, the prolific Buffalo emcee & Dallas producer swing back into the fold under their Madison Avenue aliases, Cav Calloway and Don Draper, to give us what is sure to be a decidedly Autumn/Winter in New York vibe. Judging by the artwork and the first listen to the lead-off track “Pumpkin Spice”, they’re going to give the world just that.

Right in line with their Kindred Spirits rollout, the duo has also promised an exclusive 10″ vinyl run to accompany the surprise release. Knowing them, other surprises are sure to be unveiled over the coming weeks leading up to the release.

Peep the artwork for the rundown and follow along on Instagram @cav_johnson_ and @thekidflames for more announcements regarding the project!
